Powder House is a Swedish bathroom brand bringing beautiful, colour-led sanitaryware and bathtubs to the Nordic market. Our toilets, washbasins and bathtubs are manufactured in Italy and Poland by specialist craftsmen, and designed to bring warmth and character to a category that has been dominated by plain white for decades.
Our ceramic sanitaryware — toilets and washbasins — is produced by specialist manufacturers in Italy. Our bathtubs are made in Poland from Mineralicast, a cast mineral composite material.
Yes. Every product is designed or specified for Nordic requirements: vertical (S-trap) outlet as standard on our toilets, DZR brass fittings suited to Nordic water quality and flush volumes within the Nordic building regulations.
We offer toilets, washbasins, bathtubs and accessories — everything needed to furnish a bathroom in a coordinated colour palette.
Our ceramic products are vitreous china — the same dense, non-porous fired ceramic used in premium sanitaryware worldwide. It is fired at high temperature, making it hard, hygienic and built to last for decades with normal use.
Mineralicast is a cast mineral composite material used for our bathtubs — a blend of natural stone minerals and resin, finished with a smooth gelcoat surface. It offers excellent heat retention, a warm touch compared to acrylic and can be produced in the same colour range as our ceramics.
We aim for as close a match as possible across our range, but ceramic glaze and mineralicast gelcoat glaze are different materials and can reflect light slightly differently. Slight variation between products in the same colour is normal and not considered a defect.
Yes. Our standard glaze is fired at high temperature and offers excellent resistance to everyday cleaning, staining and wear. Please see our Cleaning & Maintenance guide for cleaning product recommendations to preserve the finish over time.
Not for a regular order, for a large quantity order we are open to discuss bespoke options.

Yes. All sanitary products must be installed by a qualified, licensed plumber in accordance with local building regulations. This is required both for your safety and to keep your warranty valid — improper installation voids the warranty.
Our toilets are designed with a vertical floor outlet (S-trap), which is the standard configuration for the Nordic market and for close-coupled, floor-standing toilets of this style.
Our toilets flush at volumes compliant with Nordic building regulations (max 6/3 litres), and in most cases below this threshold.
Prices are displayed in Swedish kronor (SEK) by default, with the option to view prices in Euro (EUR), Danish krone (DKK) or Norwegian krone (NOK) for convenience. The currency confirmed at checkout is the one you will be charged in.
Delivery timescales depend on the product, stock availability and your location. Estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.
We currently deliver within the Nordic region: Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. For enquiries outside this region, please contact us directly.
Due to their weight and fragility, our sanitaryware — toilets, washbasins and bathtubs — is delivered by specialist freight carriers, typically on pallet or via arranged two-person delivery for larger items such as bathtubs.
Inspect all packaging and products carefully at the point of delivery — this applies to toilets, washbasins, bathtubs and accessories alike. Any visible damage must be noted on the delivery note before signing and reported to us with photographs within 48 hours.
Contact us immediately at support@powderhouse.store with your order number and photographs of the damage. We will arrange a repair, replacement or refund once the claim is reviewed.
Yes, within 14 days of delivery, provided the product — whether a toilet, washbasin, bathtub or accessory — is uninstalled, unused and in its original packaging. A written Return Authorisation is required before shipping anything back to us. A 20% restocking and handling fee applies to approved returns.
No. Once a toilet or washbasin has been connected to plumbing, a bathtub mounted, or accessories installed, none of these can be returned under any circumstances other than a confirmed manufacturing defect.
All our ceramic products, bathtubs and accessories carry a 24-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. This does not cover damage from incorrect installation, improper cleaning or normal wear.
The customer is responsible for return shipping costs in all cases except confirmed transit damage or manufacturing defects.
Email support@powderhouse.store with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs. We will respond within 5 business days.
For best results, clean with a soft cloth and a mild, pH-neutral cleaner — avoid abrasive sponges and strong descaling agents, which can dull the glaze over time. For full care instructions, visit our Cleaning & Maintenance guide.
We recommend mild, non-acidic descaling products where possible. If using a stronger product, apply sparingly, avoid prolonged contact, and rinse thoroughly and promptly afterwards.
Our glazes are designed to be colour-stable under normal use and cleaning. Following our care guidelines will help preserve the finish for the long term.
